Swedish-based luxury womenswear label BITE is on a mission to create uncompromisingly sustainable yet thoughtfully designed clothes. Each piece is handcrafted and painstakingly tailored to ensure the perfect fit. Founders William Lundgren and Veronika Kant wanted to create a label that by true actions could set the tone for how sustainable fashion should look and feel.

Their clothes are designed to be exceptional and stand the test of time. The team research meticulously to find the most elite natural organic fibres, recycled and low-impact fabrics complete with environmental and social certifications. “95 % of the luxury materials in our collections are organic, recycled, or low impact.” Their modern and structured garments are truly something to be sort after, classic styles that will always be stylish.

The BITE journey began by researching everything they could find around sustainable practices and garment making by interviewing pioneers and leaders within the industry. From that, they created a platform where like-minded people from the industry could engage and be part of the change. In 2019 BITE grew into a fantastic global success while operating the business with a very small team. They partnered up with the pioneers of sustainable denim Nudie Jeans Co, won several prizes, and got appointed as a ‘Vanguard brand’, a title Net-A-Porter awards four new brands per year who they believe are the ‘future of fashion'.
