Worn & Reborn

— A short poem written by Gracie Helps —

Landfills spill

with the so last season,

the pretty little haul

fills a pretty big hole.

Circling above

but never falling in,

the fabrics of lifetimes,

refusing the bin.

Slowly made

and worth the wait,

swapped, Depopped

and charity shopped.

Clothes carry stories,

please support

T R A N S P A R E N C Y

in the fashion industry,

where was this made?

how well were they paid?

Instead of accepting

the unknowns

question

who made my clothes?
