Love Island x eBay Best Pre-loved Fits

It’s no secret that for this years series, Love Island have ditched fast fashion and have partnered up with eBay as its first ever pre-loved fashion provider.
For the first time on the show, there is a wardrobe situated in the new villa with pre-loved pieces being put together for each islander by celebrity stylist Amy Bannerman.
It comes after new research from eBay suggested that shoppers are becoming increasingly aware of fast fashion, with 20% of people admitting that they buy more second-hand fashion compared to two years ago.
Viewers are able to explore eBay’s pre-loved fashion by either using the ‘Shop the Show’ tab on the official Love Island app. In addition to this, another way that you can get involved is by looking at the bespoke edits directly from the eBay website.
Throughout the series, the islanders can be seen sporting pre-loved fits from some big designer brands, ranging from Jacquemus, I AM GIA and Tommy Hilfiger, tp Gucci, Moschino and vintage Versace.

Showing that pre-loved can look good no matter the price tag, some bargain pre-loved picks include a Couture Club Satin Bomber Jacket for £8 and a £10 white trouser suit with a halter waistcoat. Whilst at the other end of the spectrum, some stand-out pricier pieces include a £250 Gucci tiger bowling shirt worn by Luca, and a £350 Hervé Léger dress as seen on Ekin-Su.
Other items listed include Gemma’s sequin dress that she wore at the Shimmer and Shine party (which currently has a highest bid of £51.) For all the summer vibes, you can also shop Indiyah’s aqua shorts and crop-top combo that she was seen wearing at the Blue Party.

On the hunt for a going-out look? The oversized red satin jacket worn by Tasha is currently £50, and the white trouser and halter-neck waistcoat set worn by both Amber and Paige, is auctioning for £9.99 on the eBay website.

eBay has revealed that pre-loved cut-out dresses are the way forward this summer, with a 79% increase in searches.
Islanders including Paige and Indiyah, have been seen sporting cut-out clothing since the new series of the dating show began.

In the first episode, Indiyah can be seen wearing a turquoise Poster Girl cut-out dress. The pre-loved version costs £70, compared to £115 if you were to buy it brand new. Paige was also seen wearing a pre-loved reversible Sorelle cut-out dress in black.
While the exact dresses worn by Paige and Indiyah are no longer listed, there are a few options you can find on the buying and selling site - here are some of them.
Sport this House of CB orange bandage cut-out dress, it’s available in size small and is currently listed at £35 via the eBay website.
If white is more your colour, eBay has this Club L London white knotted cut-out mini dress. The description states it’s a size 10 and is listed at £28.
