Baum und Pferdgarten

The Danish brand was established in Copenhagen in 1999 by Rikke Baumgarten & Helle Hestehave, after they had graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Design, where they began their creative partnership. The name Baum und Pferdgarten was created as a light-hearted interplay between their surnames, and it reflects their playful dichotomy, which is echoed in their designs.

The designers’ collections are recognisably bold featuring playful colours, prints, and silhouettes, their fundamental design DNA. By celebrating individuality, creativity, and inclusivity in everything they do, they have been growing a global community, the #baumfamily. “Our mission is to inspire people all around the world with our bold and eclectic designs. We aim to make beautiful and artistic products that empower people to find joy in dressing for themselves.” 

Baum und Pferdgarten is fully committed to doing better for people and the planet. Not only does Baum und Pferdgarten make beautiful quality products that transcend trends, but everything they make is created in a thoughtful ethical manner, with a minimal negative impact on the environment. They aim to continuously reduce the negative environmental impact of each collection. Currently, more than 50% of their collections have been sourced from responsible fibers.
